Sree Narayana Guru -Timeline

✎1856 -  Sree Narayana Guru  born in the village of Chempazhanthy near Thiruvananthapuram

✎1882 - Met Chattampi Swami At the Aniyoor Temple near Vamanapuram

✎1884 - Studied Yoga techniques under Thycaud Ayya Swami

✎1888 - Guru consecrated the Siva idol  at Aruvippuram

✎1903 - Became first president of SNDP Yogam

✎1904 - He settled at Sivagiri to pursue his Sadhana

✎1905 -Organised the first agricultural and industrial exhibition in India, at Kollam

✎1912 - He did the prathishta of the goddess Sree Sarada at Sivagiri

✎1913 - Founded the Advaita Ashram at Aluva

✎1916 - He met Ramana Maharshi at Thiruvannamala, Tamil nadu.

✎1918 - First jouney to Sri Lanka

✎1921 - Vishwa Bandhu Sammelanam in Aluva.

✎1922 - Rabindranath Tagore visited him at Sivagiri along with  C F Andrews.

✎1924 Guru provided leadership to the ‘Sarva Matha Sammelanam’ held at Aluva 

✎1925 - Gandhiji visited Guru
         
✎1926 - Guru’s second visit to Sri Lanka

✎1927 - Participated in the anniversary of the Sree Narayana Dharma Paripalana Yogam held at Palluruthy

✎1928 - Sree Narayana Guru died on 20th September.
